to do this is to offer treats to the dog. Dogs are easily conned with treats, and this is why many trainers will

A dog will be more willing to do something early on for a treat, than they would for simple
praise. Once they get older, they will have no problem doing what is asked of them for a few kind words. This is
why you see many trainers with a small pouch on their waist, as it is filled with either small cookies or bits of
kibble. Once the dog has done as requested, the trainer will then give them a small piece of treat as a reward.
Learning The Basics
It is critical for a dog to learn follow the basic commands through dog training that will make
this dog a great addition to the family and the home. A dog that is trained is going to be a pleasure to live with,
and each and every family member that is in contact with this dog is going to enjoy each and every moment. This
will help you with the dog when it comes to times when you want the dog to sit and refrain from jumping or being
pushy.
If someone comes to your door, you do not want your dog to be a pest or burden so this is where
the training will come into play. Good training means that the dog understands that commands are necessary, and
that they are willing to comply to please their owners.
